Mars entered the sign of the fishes–Pisces–on January 12. Mars is the god of war–he’s all about action, which is to say not particularly into holding still or subduing his need to compete or express. And he’s certainly not into waiting!
Pisces, the sign of two fishes yoked together–one that wants to swim toward source energy (or back to the womb), the other desiring to swim outward toward life–is about spiritual, creative, and psychic energy.
Pisces feels, it’s empathic and intuitive. Think: the ability to create art, music, poetry, prose of the highest order–because your inspiration channels through you straight from that place within that’s directly connected to divine (or source) energy.
Mars is the warrior who takes no prisoners, Pisces is the cleric who soothes your soul with the kind of calm and trust that arise through visions of a peaceful afterlife.
What do you get when you put these two archetypal energies together?
On the high side you are being asked to proactively channel your spirituality and creative energies onto the page, the canvas, the libretto, the film, etc.
Another energetic use of these archetypes may result in writing of the escapist kind–particularly through fantasies about sex…
Hmmm, might you be the author of the next hit manuscript Fifty Shades of Mars?
You’ll never know until you try…
Mars swims with the fish until he enters his own fiery sign of Aries on February 20…c’mon in, the water’s just fine…
